Built with IBM Watson, Personality Insights Portrait was a sample app made with Chris Moody to demonstrate some possible applications of the Personality Insights API from Watson for designers.
Users can enter their twitter handle and Watson will analyze the tone and sentement of their tweets and create a unique "portrait" of their personality.
We created a design for each personality trait and then layer them based on the user's top 5 traits as ranked by Watson.
This yields over 140,000 possible combinations. Designing for a these possibilities meant building desings that could work together in a meaningful way.
We debuted the app at NYCxDesign and printed out results to create an interactive exhibit for the 3 day event.
Over the event, hundreds of people participated and shared their experience on twitter. We also were featured in a Popular Science article.
